The sounds of Artuan de Lierrée meet Mathilde Sauce’s ceramics in a sculptural and musical landscape that is vibrant, unsettling and surprising.

A dynamic environment, both strange and familiar, through which one wanders, immersed in an imagined natural world.

“Subject to the transformations of the material and the metamorphoses of firing, the stoneware and glazes I make myself — fired at 1260 °C — I develop a biomorphic universe inspired by the plant world, the aquatic realm and the carnal. My sculptures are organic presences, sensitive avatars evolving in an imaginary garden. They construct a personal mythology. Nature, an essential source of inspiration since childhood, nourishes my forms and my narratives. But this is not a descriptive nature: it is an inner landscape.
