Farah Fersi is a Tunisian artist, musician and composer known for her virtuosity on the kanun, a traditional Middle Eastern stringed instrument. Drawing inspiration from the rich cultural diversity around her, Farah creatively fuses Arabic and world music with this traditional instrument. One of her distinctive features is her innovative playing style, which uses all ten fingers and incorporates percussion techniques, thereby expanding the possibilities of the qanun.
