An evening full of surprises, combining the magic of notes, words and... just plain magic!

With Ludovic Gorges, Artuan de Lierrée and Mathias Steinauer.

Ludovic Gorges: magician and author.

Artuan de Lierrée & Mathias Steinauer: composers, improvisers and pianists.

Born in 1977, Ludovic Gorges is a professional magician from the Haute-Vienne region who continues to hone his craft through contact with the public. Specialising in close-up and parlour magic, he is much in demand for making guests' eyes shine at private parties and corporate events. His professionalism, talent and humour make him a convivial magician who is much appreciated by the general public.

Equally adept with playing cards and the French language, he co-founded the ‘Hackadémie française’. His mission? To hack the meaning of words... Over the course of the evening, he will add to his magic tricks by reading out tasty definitions taken from his humorous dictionaries...

Artuan de Lierrée, born in 1987, is a composer and musician whose creations fuse elements of classical music, film music and electronics. Fascinated by the strange, the occult and the esoteric, he incorporates these influences into his music and explores atypical instruments such as toy pianos and the theremin. Artuan has also made a name for himself by creating a number of cine-concerts based on silent films, adding a new dimension of sound to iconic visual works. He has performed in a number of prestigious venues, including the Palais de Tokyo in Paris and the Opéra de Limoges.

Mathias Steinauer was born in Basel in 1959. Studied piano, music theory and composition at the Basel Academy of Music. 1986-88: studied composition with György Kurtág.
